EFunds Acquires ClearCommerce Corp for $19 Million

EFunds Corp., a provider of electronic payment services, will acquire ClearCommerce Corp., a fraud prevention and payment processing systems provider for $19.4 million.

The combined entities will reportedly provide customers with a comprehensive perspective on fraud detection, based on data from both ClearCommerce's FraudDetect database and Scottsdale. AZ-based eFunds' DebitBureau database.
