Hello folks. My name is Ken Magill and I’ve been asked to take over the production of E-Centric.
Some of you may already know me as the producer of e-mail newsletter Magilla Marketing and a contributor to Direct Magazine and Multichannel Merchant magazine.
For those who don’t know me, I’ve been writing about Internet marketing and advertising since 1997. That was when I first joined trade publication DM News and the other reporters in the newsroom forced me to take the Internet beat because I was the new guy and they thought nothing all that interesting was happening online.
Seriously.
In any case, I will do my best to fulfill E-Centric’s mission of reporting and offering useful information on all things content.
E-Centric’s previous editor, the very talented Beth Negus Viveiros, has taken on larger responsibilities with this newsletter’s publisher Penton Media.
Also, I want to stress that this is not my newsletter. It’s your newsletter. I’m here to serve your needs.
What does that mean? It means E-Centric needs your participation in order to be as lively and informative as it can be.
I’m looking for ideas and good contributed articles.
So if anybody’s got any ideas out there for an article or two, fire away. I can sure use the help.
