A call center planned by Global Contract Services, an insurance direct marketer, will bring 220 jobs to Lancaster, OH, according to the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette. The positions include customer service, insurance agents and telephone sales representatives, the paper reported.
The company’s move-in date has not been finalized. Global Contract Services, which is based in Salisbury, NC, employs more than 1,500 associates throughout North Carolina, Virginia, Texas and Florida, according to the Eagle-Gazette.
Global Contract Service’s clients include Bank of America, Wachovia, AIG, Verizon, Wells Fargo and Washington Mutual, according to the paper.
