Hunting, fishing and outdoor gear cataloger Cabela's Inc. posted revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2005 of $350.6 million, an 11.7% increase compared to $313.9 million for the same period last year.
First quarter net income for the Sidney, NB-based company was $7.8 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, compared to $8.0 million, or $0.14 per diluted share for the same period a year ago.
During the quarter, direct revenue increased 11.4% to $229.4 million. Total retail revenue increased 7.4% to $97.2 million and same store sales decreased 6.3%. The company made its initial IPO last year.
