Dell has recently announced plans to reinvigorate its direct-to-consumer business model, and is investing more than $100 million in its consumer experience efforts. It has hired more than 23,000 new sales and support personnel within the United States, and has either added or expanded call centers in Ottawa, Oklahoma City, Manila and Nashville.
