Coupons, Inc., a Mountainview, CA-based provider of printable coupon marketing and technology services provider, has acquired a 50% interest in Cashstar International, the Australian parent of Couponstar Ltd (UK) and Couponstar Pty Limited (Australia). The Couponstar companies provide printable coupon marketing solutions within Europe, Asia, and Australia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Couponstar companies have been using Coupons Inc.’s technology platform for coupon promotions, ticketing, and cash transfer applications for the past 4 years. The companies will focus their first joint efforts on expanding Couponstar’s incentive promotions business in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Couponstar will continue to operate from its offices in Sydney, Australia and London.
