Joe Calve has joined corporate law firm Morrison & Foerster as CMO. In this role, he will oversee marketing and business development efforts for the 1,000-attorney international law firm.
Calve previously was CMO at Proskauer Rose. While there, the firm’s marketing department was ranked #1 among AmLaw 200 firms for three consecutive years, from 2007-2009, by Marketing the Law Firmmagazine, according to a statement from Morrison & Foerster.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Mr. Calve was global director of business development at White & Case.
A former practicing lawyer, his career experience includes 15 years as an editor and business executive with American Lawyer Media, including, most recently, vice president responsible for the National Law Journal, VerdictSearch, and related businesses.
