Chrysler Revs Up Online Marketing Services for Dealers

New fee-based services for Chrysler dealership Web sites and sales lead generation are planned for launch beginning in October.

“The way people shop has changed dramatically. These new tools represent a fundamental shift in the way we go to market,” said in a statement Deborah Meyer, vice president and chief marketing officer at Chrysler LLC.

Participating Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealers can customize Web sites, with special offers, inventory data and other kinds of information.

Chrysler’s brand and dealer Web sites will be integrated allowing easy navigation for consumers, which according to Meyer will help dealers respond faster to inquiries.

Assisting Chrysler with these Internet media initiatives are Shift Digital, based in Troy, MI and Dealer.com, located in Burlington, VT.
