Women's clothing marketer Chico's FAS Inc. posted net sales for the first quarter ended April 30 of $327 million, a 27.4% increase from the $257 million reported of last year.
Net income rose 32.3% to $47 million, compared to $36 million during the prior year quarter.
Online and catalog sales for the Fort Myers, FL-based company were $7.96 million, versus $6.08 during the period in 2004.
