Women's clothing cataloger and retailer Chico's FAS Inc. net sales for the second quarter ended July 31 increased 46.9% to a record $255 million from $173 million for the second quarter ended August 2, 2003.
Net income rose 45.1% to $35 million for the quarter, compared to net income of $24 million in the prior year's second quarter.
For the six months ended July 31, net sales increased 49.4% to $512 million from $342 million for the prior year's six months. Net income rose 48.8% to $71 million, compared to net income of $48 million in the prior period.
