Combined catalog and Internet sales increased 31% during the fourth quarter and nearly 23% for the fiscal year ending Jan. 29 at Jos. A. Banks Clothiers Inc., according to preliminary and unaudited sales figures released on Monday.
Overall the company reported nearly $127.9 million in sales for the fourth quarter, compared to $100.9 million for same quarter of the previous year, including retail sales. Total annual sales for the most recent fiscal year increased 24.3% to $372.5 million, up from $299.7 million in the last fiscal year.
Net income increased 50% to $24.5 million in the most recent fiscal year, compared to $16.3 million in net income in the 2003 fiscal year.
