Brookstone Reports Third Quarter Net Loss of $4.5 Million

Brookstone, Inc., Nashua, NH, has reported a net loss $4.5 million for the third quarter ended Oct. 30, compared to a virtually unchanged net loss of $4.5 million for the same period last year.

Third quarter net sales increased 23% to $53.2 million from $43.5 million.

For the first nine months, the company reported a net loss of $9.1 million compared to a net loss of $9.4 million for the comparable period last year.

Year-to-date net sales increased 18% to $159.4 million compared to $135.1 million for the first nine months of last year.
