Bounty SCA has launched a new in-school educational program in the United Kingdom, which will include passing out samples of products to students. Called "Upfront," the program debuts next month and targets more than 600,000 students between the ages of 11 and 16.

Upfront was designed at the behest of British educators who wanted relevant real-world teaching materials for classes in personal, social and health education (PSHE) as well as citizenship. Underwritten by corporate sponsors, the program includes Web sites, wall boards and teacher packs.

Bounty sees the program as an expansion of its experience in North America, where it distributes more than 4 million educational guides a year. The program allows the sampling agency to add a business unit in the U.K., where it is best know for "Bounty Bags" and a series of pregnancy and parenting guides for new mothers.

Bounty SCA describes itself as a supplier of targeted consumer access.
