The Direct Marketing Association has named Senny Boone senior vice president, corporate and social responsibility. She replaces Pat Kachura, who will retire at the end of the year.

Boone, now vice president, special counsel and executive director of the DMA Nonprofit Federation, will continue to oversee the Federation until a replacement is found. The replacement will report to her.

In her new role, Boone will report to the DMA’s chief financial officer John Horan.

Boone has been serving the Federation, made up of 400 nonprofit groups and 90 fundraising and marketing companies, since 2002.

Kachura has served the DMA for 13 years.

When Pat first informed us of her retirement plans, we were at a loss as to how we could replace someone who has made so many meaningful contributions to the direct marketing community,” said CEO John Greco in a statement. “But it quickly became apparent that the best candidate to build on the success of our corporate and social responsibility programs already worked at DMA, and that’s when we approached Senny to take the job.”
