The file includes weekly hotlines as well as 300,000 new movers and 35,000 new businesses each month. BellSouth conducts business in nine states: Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and North and South Carolina.
Walter Karl, Pearl River, NY, also manages two other telecom files, the Ameritech database of 9 million names and the Qwest file (formerly US West), which contains about 7 million names.
