Michael G. Bechtol, citing personal reasons, has resigned as president and chief operating officer of Catalina Marketing Corp., effective Sept. 12.
His responsibilities will be handled in the short term by CEO David D. Granger, group president Sue Klug and group president Patty Melanson.
