KRG Capital Partners has recapitalized Aspen Marketing, a West Chicago-based direct marketing and promotional services company.
The recapitalization was financed, in part, with a senior debt facility led by Antares Capital Corp.
Denver-based KRP worked with a Aspen’s senior management team led by CEO Patrick O’Rahilly.
Founded in 1986, Aspen grew through a series of acquisitions. O’Rahilly, the founding entrepreneur of one of the acquired firms, was appointed in 2002 to create a new plan for the firm. Aspen’s balance sheet was also restructured at that time.
Aspen has more than 450 employees and offices in several cities, including Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles and Tampa. It specializes in serving Fortune 500 clients, many of which operate in the automotive, telecommunications and financial services sectors.
