American Interactive Digital Channels Corp. (American IDC) is kicking off an international marketing campaign with the United Service Organizations (USO). Also involved with the campaign is American IDC’s licensee ETV Inc., which is the parent company of the e-commerce movie Web site, ETVHollywood.TV.

Dovetailing with the USO's mission to provide morale, welfare and recreational services to uniformed military personnel, American IDC will support the efforts of the Washington-based USO with a yearlong fundraising and promotional program with proceeds of online classic movie downloads.

American IDC, Los Angeles, will donate all profits from the sale of the classic film "Road to Bali" during the next 12 months, and charge only 99 cents for any other available film from the library. The company projects more than 15,000 download purchases of the movie featuring Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour in the next year.

Movie fans and USO supporters can go to the Web site and download the movie to their computers or burn it to DVD using a home DVD recorder.

Every film on the American IDC streaming Web sites will be linked to www.uso.org, and links are being established to USO news or special events and military links to better service the supporters of the USO and the active duty and military reserve personnel.
