Alloy Buys 360 Youth for $13.4 Million

New York-based Alloy Inc. has bought 360 Youth for 1.8 million shares of its common stock and about $13.4 million in cash and future performance-based consideration. 360 Youth, the flagship division of MarketSource Corp., provides integrated and tactical media and marketing solutions to advertisers who wish to target the teen and college markets. 360 Youth reaches more than 40 million Generation Y

New York-based Alloy Inc. has bought 360 Youth for 1.8 million shares of its common stock and about $13.4 million in cash and future performance-based consideration.

360 Youth, the flagship division of MarketSource Corp., provides integrated and tactical media and marketing solutions to advertisers who wish to target the teen and college markets. 360 Youth reaches more than 40 million Generation Y consumers through media, sampling, promotion, event and customer-acquisition programs, according to a company statement.

The acquisition is expected to generate $15 million to $17 million in revenue in fiscal 2002, according to Matt Diamond, Alloy's CEO.

Alloy is a youth-focused marketing company and cataloger.
