ALC of New York LLC has relaunched its ListXchange.com service.
Through its proprietary online namebankä, the new division offers an online solution for helping mailers activate dormant list exchange balances by trading them to other mailers and receiving active, mailable names in return.
Originally conceived in 2001, ListXchange was scheduled to launch in October of that year but was postponed as a result of the 9/11 tragedy.
Fifty catalogers have signed up so far, said Andy Ostroy, chairman and CEO of ALC of NY. A new Web site for the service, http://www.listXchange.com, is being updated, and is expected to go live June
