Online marketing service firm 24/7 Media will manage two new-to-market e-mail lists. The files, BlackPlanet.com and AsianAvenue.com, are both Community Connect Inc. properties. New York-based Community Connect develops and markets dedicated online communities for ethnic markets.
The first, BlackPlanet.com, features 160,323 registered members, each of whom has been given a free personal page. Members also spend an average of 2.5 hours a month on the parent site.
The second, AsianAvenue.com, was Yahoo!’s "Top Asian-American Network" in the Internet Life Top 100 sites for 2000. The list boasts 53,168 registered members.
Each list costs $200/M, with an additional $40/M fee if 24/7 delivers the e-mail message, programs a hot link back to the marketer’s Web site, and provides tracking and summary report functions.
Selects include age/date of birth, gender, and lifestyle categories, including occupation, relationship status, sexual orientation, sport/recreational/hobby interests, number of children, and musical tastes.
