Prices for lists have decreased across most categories, with some of the steepest declines for consumer data. Only attendee and membership lists increased in price over the last year, according to the Worldata Winter List Price Index.
The average prices for membership and attendees list increased by $3/M to reach $131/M. That’s up 2.3%.
Consumer magazine files accounted for the largest price decrease, down an average of $15/M compared to one year ago, reflecting nearly a nearly a 14% drop.
The report said consumer e-mail and international e-mail data prices each fell by an average of $13/M since last winter.
Business-to-business e-mail lists remain the highest priced at $285/M, but that still reflects a decrease of $2/M compared to last year at this time.
Public sector, newsletter list prices averaged $169/M and $177/M respectively, both decreasing roughly $1/M from last year.
At $81/M the average price for donor lists declined by $4/M, according to Worldata.
