MeritDirect and Penton Media have inked an agreement under which MeritDirect will offer Penton’s lists and related databases, as well as a suite of marketing platforms. The deal is effective April 1.
Penton’s lists had previously been managed by Walter Karl, an infoGroup company. Penton is the parent company of this newsletter, Direct Newsline.
Penton’s audience includes subscribers, registrants, and attendees from 114 magazines, 145 websites, and nearly 100 trade shows. Penton’s business-to-business products reach individuals employed in 16 distinct industry sectors.
The files include 5.5 million postal names, 2.1 million e-mail names , 4.1 million telemarketing names, 400,000 international contacts and a database of 135,000 trade show attendees.
MeritDirect will also be providing several data services, custom marketing and lead generation offerings.
