List firm Millard Group has reduced its workforce by seven employees, including three with 20 or more years’ experience. The layoffs were effective June 30.
The longest-tenured employees include Joanne Petrone, a VP of sales in list management who had been with Millard since 1979; Vicki Haley, a department manager in list brokerage whose tenure started in 1981; and list management sales rep Nancy Pierro, who was with the company since 1995, according to an e-mail sent to Millard Group employees.
Another employee, list brokerage client rep Susan Comeau, would have reached her 20-year anniversary in October.
The other employees let go were list management account manager Tisha Tyler; accounting department manager Jody Anderson; and staff accountant Lana Davis.
Pierro and Tyler worked out of home offices in Virginia and California, respectively. Petrone was based in New Jersey. The others had been located in the company’s Peterborough, NH office.
Millard Group was acquired by infoUSA (now named infoGroup) in 2005. Millard Group president Ben Perez and infoGroup’s Ed Mallin, president of infoGroup’s Services group (which encompasses Millard) were not immediately available for comment.
