Aggressive List Management of Springfield, IL filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation proceedings on Aug. 4.
According to papers filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of Illinois, the company held assets of under $50,000 and unsecured non-priority claims of $1,987,762.57 held by 83 creditors.
Two units of Thomson Reuters represented the largest single creditors. Thomson PDR held a claim amount of $377,409.16, while Thomson Tax & Accounting had a claim amount of $412,297.75. As of January 2009, Aggressive had offered a half-million-plus physician’s names file from the Physicians’ Desk Reference, which is published by Thomson Reuters.

The Bankruptcy Court has scheduled a creditors’ meeting for Sept. 8 at 10:30 am. The meeting will be held at 607 East Adams Street in Springfield, IL.
Company president Larissa D. Hansen did not respond to telephone calls at deadline. The company’s Web site was operational as of Aug. 5, but was down as of Aug. 10. Manta, a small business information firm, estimated Aggressive employed 10 individuals.
Aggressive was founded in 1983 as a list management firm. The company had offered list brokerage and list procurement services since 2000.
