Denny's, Spartanburg, SC, named Margaret Jenkins senior vp-chief marketing officer to handle all marketing activity as well as product development.
The appointment marks Jenkins return to the restaurant chain, at which she held various positions from 1979-89. She most recently spent nearly four years as vp-marketing for El Pollo Loco, which Denny's owned until 1999. She replaces Roy Getz, who left the company.
Cadbury Schweppes division Snapple Beverage Group, White Plains, NY, named Sheryl Adkins-Green senior vp-marketing.
Formerly senior vp-national sales and marketing for Citigroup, Jenkins will oversee all brand management activities for the entire portfolio, which includes Snapple, Yoo-Hoo, and Mistic. She reports to chief marketing officer Michael Sands.
