AT&T Wireless, Redmond, WA, named G. Michael Sievert executive vp and chief marketing officer and a member of the company's senior leadership team.
Most recently chief marketing and sales officer for online brokerage E*Trade, Sievert's career includes stints at IBM and Procter & Gamble. He'll be responsible for developing a corporate presence that will move beyond voice services.
Philip Morris Companies, New York City, in late January announced plans to name Louis Camilleri president-ceo to replace Geoffrey Bible.
Camilleri will be elected April 25 after the company's shareholder meeting. Bible remains chairman until his August retirement.
Camilleri is currently senior vp-chief financial officer. The PM veteran was president-ceo of Kraft Foods International in 1995-96.
