E-mail deliverability concern Return Path is offering e-mailers free reputation data at SenderScore.org.
The service gives companies an overall view of how Internet service providers and other e-mail receivers think of their e-mail program and provides data on factors that may hinder e-mail delivery, such as complaints, infrastructure and bounces, according to Return Path.
The company claims that 83% of e-mail delivery failures are because the sender’s reputation.
SenderScore.org is a lead generator for the company’s paid reputation service, Sender Score Reputation Monitor.
To use the service, e-mailers must register their names and e-mail addresses. Users can enter a domain name, IP address or range of IP addresses and the site will return a score of 1 to 100, with 100 being the best.
