EachNet, a Chinese Alliance online auctioneer, has hired Alliance Data Systems Corp.'s Epsilon International division to provide permission-based e-mail marketing systems.
Terms were not disclosed.
EachNet is a joint venture between online auctioneer EBay and Shanghai-based Web portal and wireless Internet provider Tom Online.
Under the terms of the agreement, EachNet will use Epsilon's e-mail communications and campaign management platform. Epsilon will also help EachNet manage and further develop triggered e-mail account messaging as well as create and launch marketing campaigns.
