Meanwhile, World.com ap-pointed Allan Kwan as chief executive officer of its Asia.com property. He had been vice president and general manager of Motorola's Asia Personal Networks Group.

Advo Inc., Windsor, CT, elected Todd Brown to its board of directors. He is president of Kraft Food Services, a division of Kraft Foods Inc.

Hanover Direct Inc. and RS Software (India) Ltd., named Norman A. Rich president and chief executive officer of Desius LLC, a business-to-business e-commerce development unit that is a joint venture between the two companies. Rich had been with Dun & Bradstreet. In addition, Tom Ball was hired as vice president of international operations.

Brylane Inc., New York, appointed Russell Stravitz chairman and chief executive officer. He had been vice chairman of Nexchange Corp. as well as a consultant to Cox Interactive Media.

Equinix Inc., Redwood City, CA, selected Peter Van Camp as chief executive officer. He had been president of the Americas region for MCI Worldcom's UUNET division.

Neiman Marcus Direct, Chestnut Hill, MA, promoted Karen Katz to president and chief executive officer. She has been with Neiman Marcus for over 15 years.
