“Get Clients Now!” is for self-employed professionals. It uses the concept of a cookbook, offering readers “recipes” for directory advertising, print ads and follow-up mailings and meetings.

Content updated for the new edition includes tips for integrating online and traditional marketing tactics; increasing Web site traffic with keyword-rich content and links; using e-zines and e-mail blasts to facilitate follow-up; building a Web presence with blogs and online article placement; increasing referrals through partnerships and strategic alliances; and using free information to build a prospect's trust.

Readers are encouraged to create an action-plan worksheet, outlining their current clients and business goals, including target dates and what “ingredients” are needed to make that happen.
