Samsung Electronics America is breaking an ad campaign and Super Bowl promotion to kick off its multimillion-dollar deal as the Official HDTV of the NFL for the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
TV, print and online ads (and P-O-P) feature retired quarterbacks Dan Marino, Troy Aikman, Steve Young and Boomer Esiason touting Samsung's four varieties of high-definition TVs (LCD, Plasma, DLP and SlimFit).
An online sweeps, The Samsung NFL HDTV Challenge, will award a trip to Super Bowl XL. A second promotion will follow later in the season from Ridgefield Park, NJ-based Samsung.
