Linda LoRe has been promoted to president of Frederick’s of Hollywood Group Inc., and will retain her position as CEO of Frederick’s of Hollywood’s retail division. She will also keep her seat on the company’s board.
LoRe has served as president and CEO of the retail division since July 1999. She was president and CEO of Girogio Beverly Hills from 1991 to 1999.
Separately, Melvyn Knigin, who had been president and CEO of the Movie Star wholesale division, has started in a new position, senior vice president of sales. Additionally, Knigin has resigned from the company’s board of directors. Knigin had been scheduled to make the transition on July 1, but agreed to the earlier change in order to facilitate the company’s restructuring and focus his attention on wholesale sales.
