Neiman Marcus Inc.’s August 2009 direct revenue increased 0.1% over last year’s level
Neiman Marcus Inc.’s August 2009 direct revenue increased 0.1% over last year’s level, in part due to strength within its women’s contemporary apparel, dresses, beauty and shoes lines.
But the strength in the retailer’s direct business wasn’t enough to offset its total August revenue decline. During August 2009, the company pulled in $241 million, down from $285 million in August 2008.
