Cabela’s Inc. has made numerous changes to its executive suite.
Patrick A. Snyder, formerly senior VP of merchandising and marketing, was named executive VP and chief marketing officer. Snyder will be responsible for the company’s e-commerce and catalog businesses. He will also retain his current responsibilities for market research/analysis, retail advertising, brand management and media relations.
Brian J. Linneman, has been named executive VP and chief merchandising officer, and is charged with merchandising, planning, inventory, visual merchandising and strategic planning/process improvement. Linneman was previously senior VP of global supply chain and operations.
Ralph W. Castner is now executive VP and CFO of Cabela’s and chairman of the board of World’s Foremost Bank, the company’s wholly owned bank subsidiary. Castner was previously VP and CFO and chairman of the board of World’s Foremost Bank. Castner will continue his current responsibilities for finance, accounting, investor relations, tax, internal audit, legal, and risk management, and will take on responsibilities for real estate, construction and facilities.
Joseph M. Friebe is now executive VP of Cabela’s and president and CEO of World’s Foremost Bank. He had previously held the titles VP, and president and CEO of World’s Foremost Bank. Friebe will continue to lead World’s Foremost Bank.
Charles Baldwin is executive VP and chief administrative officer. Before, he was VP and chief human resources officer. Baldwin will continue his current responsibilities for human resources and take on responsibilities for information systems, call centers and the Company’s Outdoor Adventures division.
Michael Copeland is now executive VP and COO. Copeland will continue his responsibilities for retail operations in the United States, as well as asset protection, and will take on responsibilities for operations in Canada. He previously was VP of retail operations.
The company also announced that Angelo Sakis, Vice President of International Business Development and Operation, will now report directly to Tommy Millner, Cabela’s CEO.
Cabela’s will hire an executive VP and chief supply chain officer. In the interim, Linneman will be responsible for distribution/fulfillment and global sourcing.
