Russell Perkins is president of Philadelphia-based InfoCommerce Group, a research, conference and consulting firm focused on the database information industry, including search engines, portals and vertical search engines. He works on a daily basis to help clients understand how search engines are changing the information landscape, and how they can apply search engine optimization and marketing techniques to grow their own businesses.
With over twenty years experience in the information industry, Russell has worked in a number of different industries, at a variety of companies including Dorland Healthcare Information, North American Publishing, AT&T and Thomas Publishing. He is Chairman of BizViz Audience Analytics, a New York company focused on Internet site traffic analysis, the author of a book on Internet strategy and the author of several pending patents in the area of Web site visitor data enhancement.
