Sridhar Chityala has joined eGain Communications Corp,’s board of advisors. EGain provides multichannel customer service and knowledge management software.
Before joining the board, Chityala was EVP and chief ecommerce officer at Wachovia, where he was responsible for customer experience integration, online brand articulation, and online and mobile customer experience strategies.
Prior to that, Chityala was EVP at Chase Financial Services. At Chase, he was responsible for the eCommerce, online marketing, payments, and ebusiness initiatives of the consumer and middle market segments.
Chityala has also served as COO and vice chairman of the Financial Industry Foundation/Lafferty Councils, and held positions at National Australia Bank Group, Teknekron Software Systems, Logica, and State Bank of Victoria.
He is also a co-founder of the Global Payments Council, and is currently a board member of various payment bodies and associations.
