Mat Zucker Rejoins OgilvyOne New York In Creative Position

OgilvyOne New York has hired Mat Zucker to serve as executive creative director.

OgilvyOne New York has hired Mat Zucker to serve as executive creative director. He will report to Harvey Kipnis, Managing Director, OgilvyOne, New York.

"We're delighted to have Mat rejoin us to lead OgilvyOne New York creatively,” said Carla Hendra, CEO of Ogilvy North America, in a statement. β€œHe brings us best-in-class direct marketing and CRM experience across the expanding channel landscape -- both offline and online.”

Zucker is rejoining OgilvyOne after leaving in 2005 to join R/GA as ECD and more recently Agency.com where he was VP, ECD of its New York office for the past two years.

At Agency.com, Zucker helped lead a turnaround at the New York office and the agency. His creative contributions led to growth of the agency's business with such clients as CIT and Mars and he was instrumental in bringing in new business from SPX Corp, LG Electronics, Jackson Hewitt and others.

Before Agency.com, Mat was executive creative director at R/GA, leading creative on Subaru of America and Johnson & Johnson. Prior to that, Mat was at OgilvyOne where he rose through the creative ranks to become group creative director and led the Enfamil and Cisco Systems business. He has worked at several other agencies as well, and got his start in advertising as a copywriter at FCB/Leber Katz Partners.
