Budco, a fulfillment and direct marketing company, has hired Daryl Minor to serve as chief information officer.
"There are so many exciting initiatives going on at Budco and IT is right in the middle of supporting them all," Minor said in a statement. "We’re engaged in launching a new enterprise resource planning system that will improve Budco’s internal operations; developing a sophisticated point-of-sale material management application for one of the world’s leading beverage companies; and helping design new automated processes to support Budco’s core fulfillment offering, just to name a few.”
Minor has 25 years’ experience in a variety of IT related. He has been in leadership positions including Johnson Controls as IT director, Europe, Africa, Middle East; operations and supply chain management, Visteon Corp.; IT director, Europe, South Africa, South America; operations/supply chain management, Champion Enterprises; VP of information technology and CIO as well as VP of information technology and CIO at the Phoenix Group (now Minacs); and manager of application services at the R.L. Polk Co.
